This volume is dedicated to a man I appreciate more each day, my Dad. What a shame it is that we don't recognize and "give people their flowers" before they die. Dad was great in so many ways, but most of all because he was a true giver. He always gave of himself freely without ever asking anything in return. The modern "quid pro quo" theory would have been distasteful to him.

I wish I could tell him so, but it would only embarrass him. I'm sure he knows!
